Due to the record number of applicants we've received this year for the Klaus Startup Challenge, we are requiring a video submission to be submitted by March 17th at 11:59 pm. The videos you submit will be reviewed by judges and will decide the top 25 teams that will be allowed to move on to demo day.
Video Pitch Guidelines:
- No longer than 90 seconds
- No more than 1-2 founders talking during the video (reduce transition time between speakers)
- Within the 90 seconds, we should understand the following:
- The problem you’re solving
- Your solution/product
- Who are your customers – B2B, B2C, direct-to-consumer, freemium/premium packages or subscriptions, enterprise, etc.
- Your value add/differentiator - why are people going to buy your product/solution over competitors or others on the market
- Why you’re the right ones to solve it – what makes your team the best team for this
Instructions for posting your video to the data room:
- Navigate to your startup profile page (you can do so from the home page or from your profile by clicking on your startup name)
- Once on your startup profile page, select "Data Room" from the left navigation
- In the field for "Pitch Video" paste the link to your video. We recommend hosting your video on YouTube so that the video can be viewed within the Fuse platform by mentors, investors, and others without any permission issues. You can leave it as "unlisted" if hosted on YouTube.
- Once you've linked to your video, click "Save"
- To preview that the video uploaded correctly, click the > to the right of the link. Your embedded video should open below.
